"SUNSHINE PALACE S."is the FCI registered kennel name for pedigree, well known nationwide as the producers of the finest quality Miniature Schnauzers and English Setters. The SUNSHINE PALACE home is located in the mountainside of southern Hayama, Kanagawaken, also well known as "SUNSHINE PARADISE KENNEL". Owner, Sumiko Ikeda has been breeding and exhibiting top quality Miniature Schnauzers since1979 and plus English Setters, and some other breeds, has succeeded in breeding, exhibiting, and made over 100 JKC, AKC, FCI, AUKC and Australian Champions at Sunshine Palace S. As a member of Japan Kennel Club, American Miniature schnauzer Club , and Director of the Shonan Mniature Schnauzer Club,(JKC Reg.)Sumiko holds the Code Of Ethics in very high regard, and strives hard to improve confirmation, health and temperament in their breeding program in order to further integrity of the breed standards.

Sumiko purchased her first Miniatrue Schnauzer "Twinby"as a family pet when she and her husband lived in Kanazawa, some northern parts and having snow area. She just hoped for a pet, fitting their life, tuff, smart, lovely , little different from her former pet that her family had been raised up.

TWINBY was from famous American bloodlines "Shierley"and was very smart and most fun creature she ever had. With more and more training ,TWINBY came to understand many commands and soon got highest scores in training competitions. Sumiko deeply loves the Miniature Schnauzer breed and the more she learns and the more she experiences with and about the breed, the more her curiosity is encourages. Sumiko's interest in the breed is never ending.

In 1984, I got a phone call from Regency, Beverly Verna who already started as a famous show exhibitor "Regency's Right On Target" as a NO1 Miniature Schnauzer in the States. It was my good luck to get my first America Champion Bitch "Regency's Sunshine Girl" sired by Amch. Regency's Right On , father of the Target. Since then I have her as my mentor, learned, experienced, improved this breed in showing and breeding over 10 years. I have keeping my policy for producing the best quality Miniature Schnauzers without any hereditary diseases from now on And this helps me succeeding as a good breeder, good show exhibitor, and good judge.
